Our Mission

Scout Browser is a safe YouTube search app for kids that uses Google's Gemini AI to automatically filter content and help parents ensure their children only see age-appropriate, educational videos. We recognized that YouTube's built-in safety features don't provide parents with sufficient tools to curate content according to their family's specific values and educational goals.

Our iOS app makes it simple: set your child's age, add your preferences like "focus on educational content" or "no scary themes," and let Scout Browser do the rest. Every search is automatically filtered by AI, so you can feel confident about what your child is watching.

Available now in iOS beta via TestFlight, Scout Browser includes fun educational topic suggestions like Animals, Science, Art & Crafts, and more - making it easy for kids to discover safe, educational content that supports their learning and development.

I've seen too many young kids spend hours on overstimulating YouTube content—wasting the curiosity and intelligence I know they have. It reminded me how much media shapes young minds. Growing up in Silicon Valley, I had access to content that pushed me to build things and taught me math, engineering, and problem-solving skills—lessons that shaped my career. I want more kids to get that kind of high-quality, educational exposure.
